Implement group policies that fulfill:

• Prohibit users to access the control panel

• Create a firewall rule to block ping. implement these policies on a single OU

• Implement audit policies

1) Prohibit users to access the control panel

Let's begin by creating an Organizational Unit (OU) named "Sales," which will be used for applying policies.

Now that we have the Sales Organizational Unit (OU) set up, let's create the first policy to restrict users from accessing the Control Panel and apply it to the Sales group.

User Configuration → Administrative Templates → Control Panel

gpupdate /force

Now, let's attempt to open the Control Panel using the user account named Omar.

2) Create a firewall rule to block ping.

Computer Configuration → Windows Settings → Security Settings → Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security → Inbound Rules

Next, let's right-click Inbound Rules and select New Rule.

gpupdate /force

Now, let's test the policy by ping to confirm its effectiveness.

3) Implement audit policies

Computer Configuration → Windows Settings → Security Settings → Local Policies → Audit Policy

We can enable any of them.

gpupdate /force
